Thanks to both John & Philip for previous help. A followup Q: would the kind of dipole antenna often used to boost reception with FM radios serve as a SW dipole? How exactly would I couple the twin leads to the set and what is meant by using a few turns of wire to match it to the set? Do you mean adding a few turns to either the primary or secondary wrappings? I will be using 20 awg en. wire on a 2" form.
And yet one more Q: what is a good source for the lower pf varicaps? I guess I'm looking at 100 pf, right?
