since i now own a heathkit cr-1 would like to take it on the road with me. any suggestions for antenna substitutes for 100 feet of wire? car antenna, ect.
second, is there any way to provide ground to the radio from inside a car or van, in otherwords is there a way to use the radio while moving?? and no i am not going to consider a reel of wire behind the car connected to my ground stake,
i keep feeling like i am re inventing wheels - newbie luck, my wife reminds me i can buy a nice am radio for a couple of bucks.
any and all suggestions (even snide one) sincerely appeciated
