I have already "worked" on one of my headsets. I reduced the distance from the magnent to the diaphram to less than the thickness of the diaphram. In other words, if I lay a straight edge across the flat surface that the diaphram lays on, there is only a few thosands gap between it and the magnent. It helped volume consiterabley. I dare not go any closer. The diaphram would probably hit the magnent. I will try the mylar diaphram on another headset, when I get time. I was thinking of using a piece of steel "tin can" metal and make a dime sized disk to put in the center of the mylar. Seem like a goood starting point??
