Hi John. Im sorry if I confused you as to what I want to do, but I think we are on the same wavelength(no pun intended).If I understand what you were saying correctly, you used the stator,with taps, for the antenna coil and the rotor for the tuning coil? If that is so,what I did was just the opposite. I used the stator as the tuning coil and the rotor for the antenna coil,without taps. Keep in mind that I am not experienced with this stuff, so if what I am doing seems backwards, it probably is! I may try both configurations for fun. Thanks.
