BTW I believe it should be possible to make micro power AM transmitter powered only by your voice.
Use an efficient transducer to generate a fairly strong audio signal. Rectify and convert most of it to generate a DC voltage, and use that to power the micro transmitter. I bet it has already been done.
I saw an article (or was it a product) a number of years ago in a Ham rag of a 2mtr FM transmitter that was plugged into the phone jack of your HF rig and was powered by the Audio coming from that. Not quite the same thing but same idea. --Loose
