Mike, you are now a member of the Mystified Xtal Radio nuts. Occasionally someone reports hearing FM on their Xtal set without an ampifier, but it usually take some amplification to bring them in. I too have picked up FM when I was tuning my short wave Xtal set, (lots of very powerful sigs aroud here) but I had the RS amp hanging on it too. --Larry
