Reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when I was bench testing the audio amplifier for a tube/transistor hybrid regenerative I was working on. I had the amp sprawled out across my bench with my headphones connected to the output and long test leads going to my power supply. My intent was to buzz test it by sticking my finger on the input, but as soon as I applied power it began receiving a local AM station at a pretty respectable volume! Whoa there big feller – wait for the detector!! LOL!
