OK,
After reading the big discussion on Litz - I'm not quite ready to plunk down the change for Litz wire yet, but I am going to get some of those $4 spools of 22# insulated wire from Radio Shack to build my next rig with.
My current rig uses 22# SOLID insulated wire (the same type I'm planning on buying) and it does just fine. (Yes, I know it could do better, but for now I'm happy with it.)
I'm building a new rig with larger diameter coils and I was thinking the stranded wire would be better to use, but now I'm wondering since all the discussion - should I stick with the solid wire?
I'm sure some of you have opinions on the matter :)
