I just purcased a westinghouse RC, RA/DA radio that is electrically untouched and works but it will only tune 930kc. to 2.5 mc. when hooked up to my rf generator. I believe this radio should tune to the low end of the AM broadcast band. Can anyone help me with this or tell me more about the operation of this set? I would really appreciate any help. I just purchased some litz wire which has 54 strands of enameled insulation. I am not looking foward to scraping insulation off 54 ends of hair-thin wire, and then doing it again.
Is there a solvent in which I can dip it to remove the enamel insulation? Are there other reliable ways to strip it?
