I live about 20 miles south of KXPA, 1540 (Bellevue, WA) and listen to it periodically when I have patience to fix the traps. I can follow a broadcast to aid in determining if you are listening to KXPA. Apparently, you want to know if a sporting match is on KXPA at a certain hour. I can help out if you give me times and programs to cover--but not tonight--am taking the "war dept." to the hockey game. Fill me in.

Posted - 15 February 2013 19:39 Thanks Mike. I'm south east of the station so I'm probably in a weaker signal area. I've used that data base to ID the reason I could not receive a target station. * Reception was poor last night. No wrestling or call letters. I'm locked on to it using my spotter radio this morning waiting to see if the reception improves this morning, a good indication that it might be the local. I'll be looking for call letters at noon east coast and here trying to fit a few more pieces into the puzzle. * KZMP's on line listening came up at 6:00. It was a good canidate, sports talk, but the station I'm picking up is not KZMP. * Sometime before 8:00 am when I checked it again the signal strength dropped considerably and I have another one in the background. Maybe KZMP daytime. Low signal levels and interference between the two make it impossible to copy anything. Trying to isolate the signals using a loop did not work well enough to ID the direction or clear up either signal enough to be worthwhile listening. It will be a couple days before I have a chance to listen in again.
